Hardware
General
Each pin in the socket up to 40 pins is individually provided with TTL pin drivers for H (high), L (low), pull_up (up), and pull_down (down), and is read. The advanced pin drivers support all integrated circuits, which can be tested at high and low speeds and stages. This allows reading and programming integrated circuits with voltages as low as 1.8V and below.
Before programming each integrated circuit, functional testing and socket-pin contact verification are performed. These tests will display an error message on the screen, indicating a faulty integrated circuit using signal-byte checks, preventing errors.
The 40Pro programming device improves power supply efficiency, performs programming verifications at the marginal level, and ensures long data retention.
Various socket types such as PLCC, SOIC, SSOP, TSOP, TSSOP, TQFP, QFN (MLF), and others are supported.
Core Unit (DAC)
- Two Digital/Analog converters for VCCP and Vpp, with adjustable up and down times.
- VCCP range: 2V..7V/350mA
- Vpp range: 2V..25V/200mA

- 5 TTL pin outputs providing H, L, CLK, pull-up, pull-down; adjustable from 1.8V to 5V (including low voltage)
- 1x VCCP voltage (range 2V..7V/100mA) (* 1) and 1x Vpp voltage (range 2V..25V/50mA)
- Ability to measure the source values and voltage of the programmed integrated circuit.
Software
User Interface
- The programmer provides an easy-to-use control program with direct help options and up/down menus. It facilitates the selection of the integrated circuit's code, manufacturer, and package type.
- Standard device commands (read-blank test-program-compare-erase) and (functional test-signal byte test) with some special function tests are being developed.
- All known data formats are supported. During file upload, the file format is automatically detected and converted accordingly.
- Directed automatic duplication of each function allows individual or serial number duplication of the programmed integrated circuit. This function also helps users read the serial number or unknown integrated circuit number from a file.
- The software provides detailed information about programmable integrated circuits, including drawings of all available package types. It also provides information about the label (prefixes and suffixes) numbers for each supported integrated circuit.
- The software provides all the information for ISP (In-System Programming) applications: It identifies the selected integrated circuit's pins in the ISP connector and explains how to program the target integrated circuit in-system with the required information.
- Software updates can be expensive for some programming devices. Dataman offers completely FREE software updates whenever needed. The latest software can always be obtained from our website.
